The festive season is fast approaching, we are currently taking bookings for Christmas charters & we also have a number of public cruises running throughout the winter months.
Christmas & New Year are just around the corner & we still have dates available for Christmas charters. Our fleet boasts a range of tastefully decorated, versatile party boats perfectly suited for private & corporate events on the River Thames.
Our bespoke hospitality & delicious seasonal menus combine to create the perfect Christmas atmosphere on-board. From festive finger food like our Grilled Turkey & Stuffing Pitta to fine dining options like our Roast Norfolk Turkey or Wild Mushroom Strudel we really do have a dish for every occasion. All of our menus use locally sourced, freshly prepared & delicious ingredients which are perfectly complemented by our fine wine collection.
During the Christmas season our vessels are decorated with festive garlands, twinkling Christmas lighting & can accommodate up to 128 guests for seated dinners or 180 guests for standing receptions. Heated interiors, spacious open decks & London’s iconic skyline make a private hire vessel on the River Thames the perfect venue for your Christmas function.

Our Sunday Evening Cruises have now finished for our Autumn break. Our London Christmas Cruises will start on Sunday 25th November & run for four weeks (finishing on Sunday 16th December).
Our London Christmas Cruises are 2-hour Thames circular sightseeing tours departing Greenwich Pier at 18:00. The cruises operate on Sunday evenings for four weeks between Sunday 25th November & Sunday 16th December 2018. The cruise will take you from the Royal Borough of Greenwich upriver past some of London’s riverside sights before passing under a floodlit Tower Bridge to view the Tower of London. The cruise continues through the city travelling as far as time and tide will allow before turning and returning back to Greenwich to view the tea clipper Cutty Sark and if time allows, the Old Royal Naval College and the O2.
On the journey up-river we will pass more than 20 of London’s iconic landmarks including the Tower of London, HMS Belfast, the Shard, the Globe Theatre, St. Paul’s Cathedral, Royal Festival Hall, the London Eye & the New Palace of Westminster (Houses of Parliament). During the cruise one of our knowledgeable crew members will point out places of interest and landmarks in the form of a commentary.
London Rose’s upper and lower saloons are fully heated with large panoramic windows, comfortable booth seating and tables. The lower saloon is home to a fully licensed bar serving festive favourites likes mulled wine and a wide range of beers, ciders, wines, spirits, soft drinks, hot drinks & snacks. The bar accepts cash and card (minimum spend on card is £5) and drinks can be taken anywhere on board the vessel. Toilet facilities are located at the back of the lower saloon.

One of the best places in London to see the fireworks on New Year’s Eve is from a boat on the river Thames. We have numerous shared New Year’s Eve Boat Party Cruises and private charters to choose from.
Our 5-hour shared New Year’s Eve boat parties depart from Westminster Pier on-board large Class V passenger boats. All of our shared boat parties are £160 per person and include selected beers, ciders, wines, soft drinks, a cold finger buffet and a disco.
The boats will be tastefully decorated with festive decorations and twinkling Christmas lighting creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere on-board. The interior spaces are heated and feature fully licensed bars serving a wide range of free beers, ciders, wines, & soft drinks (spirits, sparkling wine & Champagne are available for purchase).
A live DJ will be playing music on the dance floor throughout the evening where you can dance the night away. The finger buffet will be served in the saloon where you can relax and take in the sights of Central London’s greatest landmarks as we cruise through the city.
At midnight, you can head outside to the open deck to marvel at the midnight firework display and welcome the New Year in style.
Tickets for our Shared New Year’s Eve Boat Parties on-board M.V Avontuur IV are selling fast, we recommend booking early to avoid disappointment.
