Lyle Park is a 2.15 hectare open space in the Royal Docks overlooking the River Thames. The park was built on land donated from the golden syrup manufacture Abram Lyle & Son. The park was opened on the 24th July 1924 by the company director Sir Leonard Lyle, 1st Baron Lyle of Westbourne.

Thames Barrier Park is a 7 hectare open space in the Royal Docks which opened in 2000. The park overlooks the River Thames & offers excellent views of the Thames Barrier. Thames Barrier Park has a 130 metre sunken garden with two bridges offering views of the hedgerows & flowers.

The ExCel Centre is at the heart of the Royal Docks & is one of the largest exhibition centres in the world. The ExCel welcomes around 4 million visitors to more than 400 events throughout the year.

The Emirates Airline Cable Car is the first urban cable car in the United Kingdom & was designed by Wilkinson Eyre. The cable car was completed in 2012 at a cost of £60 million. The cable car travels between Greenwich Peninsula on the South of the River Thames & the Royal Docks on the North with a capacity of 2,500 passengers in each direction every hour.
