New Year’s Eve Travel Information
The following information is provided as guidance & will be updated with as much accuracy as possible.
London’s roads & public transport services will be extremely busy on New Year’s Eve & as usual the event area surrounding Westminster & Waterloo will be ticketed. Passengers joining us for a New Year’s Cruise do not need to purchase tickets from See Tickets to watch the Mayor of London’s firework display.
Central London will be heavily congested on New Year’s Eve and we advise all passengers to leave early and allow plenty of time to reach Westminster Pier.
The Northbank between Vauxhall Bridge & Blackfriars Railway Bridge will close from 20:00 on the 31st December 2023 until 06:00 on the 1st January 2024. A wider area of the Northbank stretching as far East as Victoria & as far North as Marble Arch & Holborn Station.
Ticket holders will require their New Year’s Eve Boat Party Ticket & their Security Pass to gain access to Westminster Pier. Photo ID is not required to enter the pier. Guests boarding at Westminster Pier will only be able to access the pier via Westminster Underground Station. We recommend arriving at Westminster station via London Underground (Circle Line, District Line & Jubilee Line), we recommend that guests do not attempt to walk to Westminster Station or Westminster Pier. Details about tube services to Westminster can be found at:
www.viscountcruises.com/piers/westminster-millennium-pier.
We highly recommend that all guests check tfl.gov.uk in advance & on the day for the latest travel information.
