Bankside Pier Closure, May 2019
As part of Transport for London’s on-going commitment to upgrade & improve their piers Bankside Pier will be closed for 17 days during May 2019. The Bankside Pier closure will allow contractors to remove the pier & complete essential maintenance works including dredging beneath the pier. The pier is expected to re-open on Saturday 25th May 2019.

Circular Cruise Westminster
During the pier closure Circular Cruise vessels will be calling at Blackfriars Pier. Passengers with Circular Cruise tickets or a Thames River Services River Pass will be able to embark or disembark at Blackfriars Pier. We recommend arriving at Blackfriars Pier 5-minutes before the advertised Bankside time.
Blackfriars Pier is a 10-minute walk from Bankside Pier via the Millennium Footbridge.

Blackfriars Pier is located on the North shore of the River Thames between Blackfriars Railway & Road Bridges & the Millennium Footbridge.
Bankside Pier & Blackfriars Pier are only a 10 Minute / 0.5 Mile walk across the Millennium Footbridge.

Bankside Pier is located on the south shore of the River Thames next to the Millennium Bridge within the London Borough of Southwark.
